After crossing the pass, we reach Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village inscribed on the UNESCO list. Is the most famous ksar in Morocco, which was featured in a number of films, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and Gladiator. After the tour, we stop for lunch. Our journey continues to Dades Gorges, traveling through magnificent oases of palm trees and spectacular kasbahs which have given this road the name of The Route of Thousand Kasbahs. We then pass through Skoura and Kelaa M’Gouna, famous for its roses and daggers. Finally, we reach the Dades Gorges where we have dinner here and spend the night in a hotel or traditional local riad.

This whole area is spotted by ruined Kasbahs, green oasis, and typical villages, which creates a paradise for any photographer. The Todra Gorges is a classic gorge with narrow high rock walls that rises 300 meters high. We resume our journey to the Draa Valley, we head up to the Saghro volcanic mountains winding through dramatic rock formations and gorges. The trip continues through Draa Valley into Zagora, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night at the riad.

After breakfast, we go for a walk in the oasis before leaving for the desert. We pass Tamegroute, famous for its craft pottery production, and reach M’Hamid, the desert outpost. From M’Hamid, we continue our journey into the desert. An adventurous journey through the Sahara by jeep awaits us. After covering 50 km of track, we reach the oasis of Iriki, where we have lunch before continuing towards the dunes of Erg Chigaga – an amazing series of golden desert dunes stretching for 40 km. Here, you can admire the sunset amid the dunes. The typical nomad hospitality awaits us here in our tented camp, surrounded by the dunes of the Sahara, with the ritual welcome with mint tea, a traditional nomad dinner with music, and a bonfire and overnight accommodation in a nomad tent.
